I would guess these are 'Steam-Punk', based. ... But very nice work! .... just not sure how I would use them !

Hi boys, here is one idea, what you can do with the gears:
The boys of "Battlefield Berlin", a well known German tabletop store here in town, used them as steampunk bases.
