"Kettenhund" 1/9 scale BMW R-75 Motorcycle Rider

The Model Cellar is pleased to announce the release of the BMW version of our "Kettenhund" motorcycle rider. ...finally, after a long period of time =).

Sculpted by Kaz Tomori, it is titled "Kettenhund" 1/9 BMW R-75 rider. This version fits only the 1/9 scale BMW motorcycle. As the seat and handlebars are at different positions than the Zundapp, Kaz has reworked the legs and arm to fit the BMW. The kit is now available on our website.

The kit comes with two different helmets with goggles. One has the lens filled in such that the modeler can just paint the lenses. The other version does not have the lenses filled in so that modelers can fill in the frames with clear resin if desired. In addition, it includes two different gas mask canisters - one with, and one without the map case strapped on. See the detailed pics below.

The kit also includes the German Shepherd and a side car seat cushion with a depression molded to the dog. Finally, a few accessories such as two saddle bags and a traffic paddle are also included. See the picture below for the parts breakdown and the kit contents.

I had to look at the finished figure and bike to confirm that it wasn't 1:1 scale! Outstanding painting and modelling.
