I’m not sure what releases you are referring to, other than the existing 1/9th motorcycle crew.

However, the big down side to jeff’s work, is his really awkward placement of his casting blocks on a lot of his figures. Not so with this ‘Kettenhound’.

Mark.

This Kettenhund set is designed for 1/9 zundapp (and hope soon for 1/9 R75)
I was just answering Michael Page that Jeff is actually sculpting a crew for the 1/9 kettenkrad (that's why I said "next releases). No comparaison between Jeff and Kaz work in my post, which are two of my favorite sculptors.
But yes, Jeff's figures required more work than this set for sure, but they worth the effort.

There’s always an alternative idea for the ‘Kettenhund’.

You should try to read what I said mark.
I have this 3 figures set. But that wasn't the point in any of the posts here...

Rather rude! However, with respect I did indeed read what was said, and was merely clarifying that there was not any further releases from Jeff that I was aware of.

If I have caused an upset, that was not my intention.

Regards,

Mark.

Excuse my roughness Mark. English isn't my native language. Jeff's kettenkrad crew isn't realeased yet. He only said me he was working on it.

Anyway, this kettenhund crew is awesome as well as Mr BmB review !

Hmmm, this Zundapp should be on the endangered list of extinction. Bloody hard to find, and expensive. Cheapest is £145, on eBay.

Mark.

Mark they do come up cheaper every now and then think I paid around £40 for unbuilt boxed one, hopefully the Zundapp will be re-released soon.

Cheers
Steve

Lol! What year was that then 1969?

We spoke in 2013, I had picked one up for a tenner, but thought it too large and binned it. Arrggh. ‘Stupid Boy’, springs to mind.

I do love everything about this figure barr the alsatian dog for me its to small ,i m not an expert but ive an alsation sat next to me and looking at our reflection together that resin doggy neds to be bigger IMHO

I bet for Italeri 2019

I’m not so sure that Italeri will re-release the Zundapp. Why, I hear you ask.

They have released the BMW R75, however it’s advertised as ‘German motorcycle & sidecar’. No mention of the make. So how would they release another bike using a clear brand name?

It’s a fair question. However, the camera angles really concentrate on the rider (Barr one). Don’t forget the dog is recessed a fair bit in the side car! I’ve looked and looked again, bearing in mind your observations. In conclusion, I can’t see a dramatic scale difference between dog and rider. Granted it could be a little larger, for the sake of presence. This coming from someone who handled GSD’s for 24yr. Like people, the size is variable. You may be surprised to find that the breed standard is a lot smaller than you think.

I get where your coming from and it works from an angle of maybee bieng a bitch or saying that breeds of all dogs back in time are smaller and a bit ropey in comparison to modern dogs of the breed but are healthier for it ie german shepherds and the dramaticly sloping rear end thier trying to breed out of them today

Hi Kaz!

Are you still active with Model Cellar? I ordered your Kittenhund from them about a month ago, and have not received it. I sent them an email, but they have not replied and it has been several days. Thanks for a super kit and exceptional sculpt - I hope I will be able to acquire one!
