Hello to all.
This is my version of the german Feldgendarm and his dog from ModelCellar in 1:9 as it was presented in an older thread "https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/kettenhund-1-9-zündapp-ks750-rider.110614/" here on this platform.
I bought the figure and was not aware that it should go with a Zündapp rather than a BMW. So I bought a BMW kit from Italeri and realized that the figure doesn't fit exactly to the motorcycle.
But with a few smaller conversions of the left arm and the position of the driver's butt on the saddle it could also be done.
The base, the brick wall and some smaller accessories like the tent on the side-car are made from scratch. For the stop-sign, "Halt. Polizei" I created an own decal.
I promoted the soldier to the rank of a Feldwebel, cause those Field-Police soldiers operating in small squads were often in the rank of NCO's.
Painting was done with acrylics, some finishing with oils. The vehicle was airbrushed and then weathered with all kind of stuff.
I see that on the photos there is some dust to see. That must be on the lense as there is no dust to see on the model. Have to clean the lense before the next shootings. Sorry for that.
Kind regards
Robert
