I am about to embark on a Milli-Men figure of a 1812 Kings German Legion officer. I have been trying to find out about the stipe that goes down the officers pants. The instructions say Silver. Through research I have been unable to find an accurate depiction of that color meaning is it more shinny silver (metalic) or more of a subdued steel color. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Geoff, yes, thanks that's what I was thinking too. Crimean War, never considered it. Do you think it's off?

Sharpie, your correct. Riffle Green! Hmmm, my next thought is a darker prussian green. Will have to play with it. If the stripe is a darker shade from the pants it tells me it may be more steel color than a glossy silver. Thanks I appreciate it. I wrote to a reenactment group but have not got a response yet. If I do I will share it. Thanks.
