Your braver than me , Not done a lot mounted subject's yet (one DF Grieve Camel corp).
Nice clean paint work and lovely ground work. Keep it up.
Regards
Bob

Hey dude it's turned out not too bad eh ?
Hahaha

Great job Ralph!!!
The ground work is outstanding... maybe a little SBS on creating the trees, very realistic.Colin

I know all his secrets Colin,
The mid Blue Is Druid Woad.
For the trees he uses hobbit seeds grown in 1/32nd scale pots made of terracotta milliput, watering them with dolls house watering cans
until he's ready to use them :D
Paul

Nicely painted Ralph..love the colour, looks good....Nice groundwork too.

Just one thing though, it seems odd to me that the subject is facing away from the viewer.Feels like I'm looking at the back of the figure.
Maybe it's just the way I'm looking at it.

Great job Ralph!!!
Love the shade of middle blue... very difficult (for me at least), much harder than dark blue.

Thank's Colin much appreciated.
I'll add a SBS to this thread today or tomorrow.
Need to take pics as I go along making one.

Sorry, I shouldn't wind people up,
I was really saying it's one of those models I wish I'd bought myself me owld tater.
I like the way he's observing from cover.
I would've been tempted to put the carbine in his hand as per the painting,
I think it's better as is.

Thank's Mark,much appreciated.
I understand what you mean, and never intended it to be as you say.
I never thought about it until you mentioned it.:)
But I have come up with a caption for the model.
"Hey Roberto have you finished your **** yet?":p

:D
"The work of a light dragoon is twofold.
Firstly,to scout ahead, being the eyes and ears of the main force,
and secondly once battle has begun, to add a touch of elegance
to what would otherwise be a vulgar brawl".
