Grant, superb , I really like the painting detail on the fur and the skintones.
Many thanks for showing.

Cheers Ken

Hi Grant,

I love this figure and you've done a magnificent job. The paintjob on the figure and the groundwork is awesome. You've even painted the ammunition to show every third round in the ammunition belt is a tracer. Now that's what I can attention to detail. Superb.

Thanks guys

Well done Tony youre the first to notice the tracer rounds, you have a very good eye. There is also a German rusty gas cannister on the ground. The grenade markings were decals as is the number on his mess tin. The strap is made from foil.

Looks very Good.
That's very cool!
I liked it very much.
I congratulate completion.

Nice job Grant!
This is one of my favorite figures! Is a shame that it's not widely available. The fur is very nice!

Hi Grant firstly I would like to compliment you on some incredible painting although this is an era I normaly have little interest in , secondly where were you able to get the kit from as I believe Kirin no longer produce figures .
chippy

Thanks

Thank you for kind words.
I bought the figure from Ebay. It is a 100 percent Geniune boxed Kirin kit which is long out of production. Hence the hefty price of 190 quid which was a bargain as they usually sell for 250 quid. (Dont tell the wife)

Great paintup of this rare figure!

...I really want one my self but as you mention, 250 usd is a bit stiff! :)

Its 250 pounds probably about 400 usd.

Damn, the cost of this kit is just rising and rising! The last time I bid on one, it ended up at 250 usd... But 400, that is just way to much! Lets hope for a rerelease in the near future! ;)

Wonderful stuff, I love it. Where did you get the decals for the stiehlhandgranate from? They look awsome...
