Hi, fellow modellers!
I'm getting ready to work on this beautiful figure, but I need some information on where to place these three small elements, all the pictures I could find show the coat en face. Are these some hooks, straps, fringes?
I'm also interested in the way the saber is tied.
I will be grateful for any help.

If I didn't know better (and I don't), I'd say they resemble suspender clips. But I don't see any place for them as such on the figure.

Colleagues, you are invaluable.
It is now clear as day, indeed, that the trousers are without a belt, and there are three buckles, two in the front and one double in the back.

I will add that the one in the back will not be visible anyway, after attaching the coat tail.

This is how the saber should be mounted according to the manufacturer:

In my opinion, it's a bit empty here... Some clamps and fasteners would be useful here.
Found on Wikipedia. Is it legit?

Greetings, Marcin.

I have read somewhere that Nelson didn’t wear his sword at Trafalgar. It was found in his cabin after his death and later presented to Lady Hamilton.
So if you wanted to model Nelson at Trafalgar you could always leave the sword off.

Another option. The one Mike provided the link to is a copy of the sword placed on Nelson’s wax effigy and may not be, of course, the model owned or carried by Nelson when he was alive.
I do recognise that the link I provided above is for the 1805 model which may be a bit late for Nelson to have owned.

Is it possible that it was this sword that was left in his cabin because it was too valuable to carry into battle.
It does look as if the manufacturer of this figure tried to model the crocodile head of this sword.

At the end of the day…..who knows!

This is exactly what I was looking for, I actually only just noticed the crocodile now.
So it looks like I just need to work on the crossguard and it should be fine. I'll have to narrow the scabbard too, because it's too wide relative to the rest.

A little teaser.. I can't show more before publication. Who said he has to look like in allegories? After all, he was a human being.
