Hello.
Guys, I`m usually not much talk about any problems on forums. But this time my patience is going to end. Let me explain what happened.
Me and my friend decided to buy some figures from Knight Models in august. We paid 326 euro and got nothing. We`ve been waiting for 4 months, trying to contact them by email every 2 weeks but only we got is "We`re working on your order, you can get it ASAP". They repeat it over and over again. You can`t even imagine how much time we`ve heard of "as soon as possible". We bought only 7 figures, how they have been working on them all this time? I`m not asking about 50 or 100 figures. Only seven.

We have a great patience, but last email (2 weeks ago) pissed me off:

"Good afternoon, not as you apologize to your order deveria from resolved and in your hands within 10 days please accept a detail that anger included in the order
excuse all the problems caused this week will refund
Reference to Gambit
one salñudo
and thanks for your patience
Team Knight Chema models"

What is it? I totally don`t understand what they meant.
Anger included, order deveria, one salñudo - it looks like a spanglish.
But what for? It`s a kind of a game called "hey, stupid customer, try to translate some spanish jokes"?

Last two weeks they`re totally ignoring our emails.
Does anybody have the same problem? I can`t believe that a famous company can do things like this. It`s not right I think.
At this time we have no hope to get figures or money back. I feel they cheated us.

Hopefully this will get their attention!! It's sad but sometimes good companies can mess up badly and stupid, frustrating things like this occur.

To my knowledge you're the first person to express a complaint about Knight Models on pF of this kind, so hopefully this is not typical of most people's experience.

Hopefully they will see this and respond with your figures and a decent apology (or refund) shortly.

Sadly this isn't the only negative thing about them that I've heard, hopefully once you do get your figures you won't be disappointed with the casting quality...

I have been buying knightmodels minis for a long time and have almost all of their Marvel line. Most of them I have bought from local retailers to support them and some of them online. Usually I had no problem, delays are expected but for the last couple of months I too experience the same thing through my local retailer. We have placed a couple of 'large' orders from 10 to 15 minis and unfortunately the communication with them is indeed 'suffering' to say the least. In the end they always come through but this can be really frustrating for a company with such a successful line of products. Hope things will get better.

As Tony says Micky hopefully Knight Models will see the bad press they are getting to a World wide readership and respond in the proper manner.
Good luck,
Keith

Sorry to hear.
I wouldn't read to much in the strange english though... It's may come from an automatic translator. Reading between the lines I think they say they understand your anger and you will have the figures in 10 days.
I hope that's right though...

Adrian

Thank you for your answers and support.
One of planeteers sent me another email of them. I`ll try to contact them one more time. I don`t know what I get, but I`ll keep you informed.

I have had similar communication issues and delays with KM previously. I love their models, mainly because of the genre (star wars, marvel, etc) and most of the quality has been pretty good...I've purchased most releases. However my experience in dealing directly with them has not been great from a customer service perspective.
I waited 3 months for my first order to arrive (1 miniature) and my next order was charged over 50 euro tax for 2 miniatures (when asked about this tax I was told it was postage?). The communication in both these cases was similar to above and very slow...it was a very frustrating experience. This occurred 12 months ago so it's a shame to see here and other forums that things have not improved in dealing directly with them.
As I said these are great models and I will keep purchasing them, but through online stores that can provide service and communication.
Good luck with your order

Hello.
After five months of waiting, ignoring of our emails, finally, we got our order.

When I placed the post here, I didn`t know it could works. I got a great support from you, guys. I really appreciate it.

It`s a sad but there are some problems again:
- Red Skull - one of the dogs have no head.
- Ghost Rider - no chain.
- Elrond - no left hand.

I find it disgusting. Thanks God, my friend a nice sculptor. He can fix it up himself.
I think our ways will never cross again. Hope someday KM will be better than now.

@Micky : Hi,

I had the same problem with you with my last figure, Legolas (http://www.planetfigure.com/threads/legolas-knightmodels-well-almost.54122/). I ordered it online and the package was delivered to me after 2 weeks, which is outstanding by their standards. But there was no bow included. I contacted them via email and they answered after 3 days saying that they are sorry and that they sent the missing piece. I am waiting for it still, since their email was sent last week. I would advise that you email them demanding that they send you the pieces. I sent them pictures of the Legolas figure, so you might want to do the same. I know it's a pity because they own really cool licences and their products are good. Good luck.

What is happening with this company? Is the business too large for the group currently running KM so they can't keep track of all new orders? Or can't keep the quality control? It really is a shame as they have some really nice figures, but with this kind of feedback I would refrain from buying anything from them.

There is a rogue disgruntled team member, deliberate sabotage I d say

On a serious note- some form of refund is in order. You shouldn't have to sculpt own parts, not at full price.

The only way something is likely to change is if they get boycotted and hit hard in the wallet.

Hi!

I think you have to ask for the missing parts to Knight Models(n)after all the figures came to you incompleted...

Pedro

Definitely agree you should demand the missing parts - you paid for them!

It's one thing getting a single model where something was left out of a box, it's happened to most of us once or twice, but multiple missing pieces on an order delayed this long? That's just ridiculous.

Glad you got your figures, or partly Micky.
There is a thread in the review section about their quality control and service.
I have posted my experiences in there so won't repeat, sadly there are a few of us all rather the same.
Best wishes

Arxo,

Referring to your post you mentioned here above (http://www.planetfigure.com/threads/legolas-knightmodels-well-almost.54122/) - is the character bio card with limited edition number printed on it, included with your Legolas kit?

I recently received an Aragorn, which is as your figure packed in paper box instead of metal box as older Knight Models releases were.
I wonder whether for this new releases those cards are not included any longer or it's just missed in my kit.
