Hello, everyone.
Let me show you my work finished before.

This model contains 3 first experiences for me.

1.first mounted model
2.first 54mm model
3.first large ground work

I usually like relatively large models(75mm or 90mm) because one 54mm figure looks too small to display. But I was stunned by the example of pegaso models painted by Mr.Cartacci, so I decided to try 54mm model.
As a result, I like it very much. This figure is mounted and have a standard so it looked not too small and looked good.
One more trial was large groundwork. One of my acquaintance "Sukottu san" is very good at making ground work. I was largely influenced. I tried to express vertical expansion(?) or layer composition(?)( I don't how can I say. I mean I wanted to express the height: Brigde, horse, knight and standard.)

This model took much time to be finished, but I had tons of fun.
I hope you like him.

Excellent work Makoto!
The multi-level setup is very well done. Simple, yet effective.
The pattern at the coat is extremely well done!
A very nice piece, congratulations.

Cheers,
Adrian

Thank you for the compliment, Adrian!
I should've said " the multi-level setup", shouldn't I? I learned a new English expression:).

The patterns on the coat was very tough to paint, but I think it is very effective.

Thank you, Peter!

How did I paint the pattern?
Well...just patience:)

at first I tried to make a template, but it was too small to made it.
I used a masking tape as a guide to draw straight lines. Then I painted the patterns("+" like pattern)freehand between the straight lines. I used oil paints so if I made a mistake, it was easy to erase with terpentine.

I know it's not the answer you expected, but actually just patience.

OMG This is really splendid! I'm really really moved, impressed, and shocked! Excellent in all aspects.

This is really beautiful. It seems like people are afraid to give a holy knight any sort of flash, but they surly had it. They still do. Even in a holy order rich dress was a way to show status, and wealth. The cape with the rich border is a great way to show that. The subtle weathering gives him the look of a knight on campaign. It is hard to believe that this is your first mounted figure. The horse is superbly painted and it is also a white horse which is also quite challenging to pull off. This works on every level. Wonderful work.

Wow! Makoto Great!
I think all your 3 experiments are successful.
Drawing with the design of the mantle, is indeed it's amazing.
Indeed the ground work is also wonderful.
I can't do such wonderful ground work.
I have regard in your challenge spirit.(y)
I was quite moved.
I congratulate completion.
You'd also make us be surprised at the next work.;)

Mitsutaka.:)

Thank you for your kind and lavish comment, Kazufumi, Gordy:)
I'm glad my model moved someone.

I'm always moved in this planet figure, too.

Thank you for your very careful observation and comment, Jeff.
I think painting white horse is a difficult task, but it's very eye-catching.
