Thanks guys. I am almost finished and I should post some pictures of the finished piece tonight but here are a few others. I still have to finish the flag and a few loose ends.

Anders, here is a little mud. ;) I will have more on it in the finished pictures. The pictures don't show it but the caparison is actually a lot darker. The reason for not too many shadows on the top is he will be wearing a cloak. Thanks on the crosses but I cheated, ;) I masked them and then airbrushed the shape on, then painted them in with the brush.

Stephen, how are you my long lost buddy! And how is our other friend?

Thank you guys very much for the kind words. I have only attempted 3 mounted figures and I have to say that this one tried me a little ;) but I think I may want to attempt another one!

Robin,

Thanks. I am glad to be back finally painting and I hope to have something else in the near future. I look for to watching you on your bust.

Roc,

Thanks on the whites. I think they are better in person. I will try to take a few better picture without using this flash and maybe it will show the colors better.

John,

The snow is a product that I purchased from the hobby shop. It is in the train section. It is Accurate Dimensionals Scale Landscaping. They are out of CO. I took their product and mixed it with baking soda. I applied it using matt medium.

Hey Guy,

Thanks for the kind comment. I wish I could show it to you in person. I think it looks better. I still can't seem to get the pictures right. :)

Wish I could get a chance to see it Live too! (Too far away on the left coast!)

But, it has been a pleasure to watch you bring this together. Again, my congrats to you.
