Beautiful, and similar to the mounted trapper he did a few years back for Authorsculpt that's since been reissued by Mercury Models (their photo).

Andrey, have you bought the rights for Authorsculpt's samurai too? They were superb and so hard to find now.

Oda.

Ok, nice sculpt, yes. But, why is the left leg out of the stirrup? Is he dismounting? On the wrong side of the horse? While the horse is running... Just asking... Seems like poor horsemanship. Or, have I missed something?
Harry

I'm no expert Harry (I have ridden horses in the past, but by no means expertly and the last time was some time back in the late '90s) and I may be wrong, but I see it as the sculptor trying to capture a moment in which rider is (for whatever reason) raising himself up out of the saddle as the horse is rapidly slowing down to a stop.

Not sure about why his left foot is out of the stirrup though (I hadn't actually noticed that till you pointed it out!) and looking at it again the reins are maybe a bit too long/slack also, so I can see where you are coming from.

I like it, but whether I'll get it or not I'm not so sure because I already have the Trapper, and this one is maybe just a bit too similar to that to justify a purchase (says the bloke with half a dozen Roman Signifers in the stash :wacky:) .

Great sculpt, BUT ı can't buy it. Very expensive. I wan't see sculpted BUFFALO hunter 54-75mm(I hope made this for market diversification- BUY MORE more figure more people) foot figure not CAVALRY.
Thanks for sharing.
