A Greek volunteer from Krimea 1854. Sculpted from Viktor Konnov and released from Elisena in 54mm

Painted in acylics, with some printers inks on metals

The Crimean war is little forgotten however the subject can show us a lot of surprise like this :)

well done! Nice painting on nice figure. I like it!
I want to make Greek Freedom Fighter 1821 , during winter season. Should be ready for competitions in next year. I made some reference photos when I was a war museum with Nektarios. Propably I'll please you for more informations. It is a very interesting subject.

Snow was made as a base of liquid resin , and microballons , mix that was layed as a paste, and over this sprinkled partially with "fresh" microballons. Some gloss acrylic varnish played the role of fresh melted snow . I hope i helped some
 
Darn I forgot to ask Santa for this figure, I was too busy trying to convince him to bring me a Red Rider BB Air Rifle :) Seriously, Costas, fantastic job on this one and your snow looks very convincing and easy
