WIP Critique Kronprinz Ludwig I. von Bayern

Hello together

Here's my new project, a quickie before I continue with a lengthy bust.
I bought this figure last friday, cleaned it saturday and began this week to paint it.
My target is to finish it next week because then my holiday ends. Hopefully it works...

Now the figure: it portrais Ludwig I. crown prince of Bavaria during the Napoleonic Wars in the uniform of his own Chevau-légers Regiment. The figure was patterned on a painting from 1807. It is 54 mm tall and was scuplted by Ulrich Puchala.

Actual, skin and trousers are finished to 90%, hair, uniform and rest are just rudimentary painted.
The left arm is attached so there isn't a mistake at the shoulder.

Critics are welcome.

Well, the update from the steps today.
I corrected some points in the face and on the hands and filtered them with red and violett.
Thanks to Bailey for his great French Dragoon SBS!
The second point today was to paint the green and black on the jacket.
The dark green was something new to me so I hope, it please you.

Hello together.
My latest update from the work of the last days.
As you can see, red was added on the uniform. I editet the black on the jacket and paintet the helmet and sheath.
Sash and Bandelier are not completly finished.

Hello at all,

some days left and I progressed with my figure.
I have to excuse my pictures: it's relative dark today. I hope, you can recognize everything.

This time I added the missing tones at the sheath(belts), sash, bandelier and uniform.
The metals are done too with exception of the spores.
I'm thinking about the braids. On a portrait of Ludwig I., it looks as would there be metals in the texture (a shining).
I tried to reproduce the braid in flat colours with a bit of Vallejo Metal Medium but I'm not really satisfied.
I thought about painting some layers with metal colours. Could this help or destroy the finish?
Do you have a tip for me?
Additional, I began with the base. The surface should be typical for Bavaria so there are some rocks and gras.
As you can see, I just applied the first grey tones.

Time to update and finish this thread.
The figure is almost done. I'm just working on the base.
Today, I prepared the wooden base. I hope that it is finished until sunday...

If you find some mistakes, points of criticism or something good, please let me know.
