Hello at all

This is my first post here so I want to introduce myself to you and of course present my latest work. To my person: my name is Philip Koch, at present I’m 23 years old and live in North-Germany. In the first place I built World War II models and figures in 1/72 but nowadays my interests changed to historical figures in 1/32 or busts in 1/9, especially Napoleonic ones.

To my bust: it’s a French Voltigeur produced by Wolf in 200 mm. He should be located at the Battle of Wagram being part of the 4th Line Infantry Regiment, called L’Impétueuse (The Impetuous), which took part at the counterattack at Aderklaa. The French captured the village again but couldn’t resist the next Austrian attack. The 4th Line had heavy losses. It was reduced to only 5 officers and 300 soldiers (commanded by a simple captain) and probably one of their eagles was lost. (Source: frederic.berjaud.free.fr)
I tried some busts before but didn’t finish one of them (it is planned) so this is my first completed.
It’s only painted with Vallejo acrylics. The wooden base consists of poplar and is self-made.
I hope you like it. Comments, critics and questions are desired.

Regards Philip
