Hi friends!

Well, this is the first time I show my work here, so don't have problems to comment or critique all you consider.

This bus was paint with oils and some acrylics. The skin tone is a little bit yellow, cos' I was trying to experiment, following pictures by Eon-Lee. I think that was an interesting process.

It won a bronze medal in the WE, in painting master category.

Feel free to comment!

I really love your metal work Alex . Can you explain how you work it ?

thanks

Thanks to all!! I'm happy that it likes to you

About metals; I used an acrylic base (Boltgun metal) and worked just the shadows with blak ink. Washes and washes of ink 'till get an almost-black shadow, then I worked lights, dipping with a clear metallic (boltgun + mithrill) in the lighted areas. Finally, tones and effects with oils. It was very funny to work!

Cheers!

Thanks for sharing your metal technique.Your metals on this bust is very realistic.I can just about hear the clank of the armour.

Absolutely Beautiful rendition on the armour and face painting , the only one small area that this falls down on is the axe handle . It's too brown , take a look at any working tool with a wooden handle , pickaxe, hammer, shovel and axe you will see that they are worn to a very light colour through usage and would also be made off a close grain wood for strength .
