Have been looking forward to having a go at these 2 for months and have discovered the right legs, cast separately on both figures, are too long. Without removing a substantial amount of material, they will stand at an odd angle leaning impossibly to the left. Before I sell them on ebay, does anybody have any advice or words of wisdom to offer?

A shame as these are really nice looking figures. :(

Yup, those are them. And I just cannot come up with a good solution to the leg length discrepancy. Thought of building up underneath the left foot. Otherwise would have to somehow shorten the right legs by 2-3 mm or so without losing the foot or raising the coat-tails and skirt.

Does the kit come with a base that the legs fit into ?

It looks to me that both figs have an offset stance.

FWIW I`ve found La Meridiana very receptive to fixing problems.

The bases are essentially flat discs on these. My first thought was the stance must be offset, but I found I could not dry fit them in place without a gravity defying lean to the left. The boots on each of the right legs are visibly taller than on the left legs on closer inspection. Kinda weird isn't it?
