Here is my latest one, La Meridiana Miniatures, Dubat 54 mm.

The first time I saw the figure I knew I had to get it. It just had the required amount of that special something.

It is a bit of a different subject that I´m used to paint, and it was also the first time that I tried painting an ethnic skin tone.

I painted it with Vallejo acrylics.

Thanks,

Ville.

Ville,

I love this figure and your rendition of it! My compliments!

Could you tell us how you did the groundwork?
I would love to try your technique.

Cheers,
Adrian

David, Roger, Adrian and Karsten thanks for your nice comments.

The groundwork was made from epoxy putty with a few small stones pushed into the soft putty. A bit of sand and a little bit of Woodland Scenics turf were sprinkled on to the base.

The groundwork was first sprayed with mix of earth coloured Tamiya acrylics.
After that different earth coloured Vallejo Acrylics were brushed on to make variations to the base colour.

The longer grassy bits were made from a product called Realgrass purchased from Bestsoldiers.

After the grass was glued and dry I used a few different earth coloured Mig Productions pigments to tie everything together.

Ville.
