thank you very much for your comments.
Sorry for confusing napoleonic with victorian.
Dave and Kevin: i did paint the red with acrylic starting with a dark red
Cadmium red ,red leather Vallejo and wood and black Andrea.This mix was
then gradually highlighted by adding scarlet red until the final highlight by using only scarlet and flesh I find that using red scarlet works really well to highlight red.
Also i think that mixing Vallejo and Andrea works very well.Vallejo colours blend very well but sometimes have a slight shine .
Andrea colours are very matt and do not blend so well.
By mixing them i get a very matt colour that also blend well .
Mariano: non sapevo che tu fossi membro a P.F,e`un onore ricevere i tuo complmenti.La vignetta che hai scolpito per la competizione in Val d' Aosta
e` FANTASTICA.

Molto bello!! mi piace molto il viso e il rosso dell'uniforme ma sei sicuro che sia del periodo napoleonico, credo che sia un fante inglese della seconda metà dell' ottocento o del periodo coloniale... però magari mi sbaglio..
Ti manderò al più presto da vedere le foto del samurai che ha vinto il concorso a pasqua Riviera Model Expo (Purtroppo non riesco a inserirle sul sito!)
