I have been a member of Miniature Mentor for a while now. The quality and information in the videos are great.

But the only update so far (for 2013) was the Abyssal Lord and the weathering tutorial by Rick Lawler. The Abyssal Lord was released in April, while the weathering tutorial was released on the end of July.

The following was the release "schedule" for 2013:
1. Alex Varela : Abbysal Lord (cmon: Iguazzu) - filmed
2. Matteo Murelli : Sven Hammerfaust (cmon: Mu) - filmed
3. Matteo Murelli : Basing Volume 2 - filmed
4. Alfonso Giraldes : RAF Legend (cmon: Banshee) - filmed
5. Sebastian Archer : The Art of Sebastian Archer (cmon: automaton) - filmed
6. Sebastian Archer: Basing Volume 3 - filmed
7. Matt Cexwish - Making Dioramas (cmon: Matt Cexwish) - filmed
8. Rick Lawler - Rust and Weathering - filming May 2013
9. Mirko Cavalloni - The Dark Forest (cmon: Mauganra) - Filming May 2013
10. The Complete Guide to Miniature Anatomy - 2013

Only 2 was released so far.

The lack of update is also really frustrating. No newsletter to the member or even an official forum to discuss anything.

What gives?

Well ( for the younger who read us, and don't know yet )
Looking at the picture on the opening screen I would subtitle in
How to paint a 3 dimensions figure like a magazine illustration ( aka modern american comics )

here is the link http://www.miniaturementor.com/
And .. it's not for free

Yeah, after the last video was posted they said the next basing one would be up in a couple weeks. That was a few months ago. The quality of the videos and the artists is fantastic. Here's hoping that they release more stuff soon.

We were discussing this on another forum. One of the guys said he'd emailed them and got this response:

Hi Gareth, we appologize for the delay in the last tutorial - we're doing our best to get it out.

We got slammed working on our anatomy tutorial. In order to make the best course we could, we decided to create a supplimental book with the world's best artists working at Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, Marvel and D.C. Unfortunately, juggling both is time consuming. www.mastersofanatomy.com

As a token of our appreciation for your patience and understanding we will be offering the book to you at cost + shipping (the book normally retails for $45). We'll be setting up a special page later in December to purchase from.

As for the tutorials - they are just waiting to be edited. We got tons of incredible learning ahead for you.

Also, we have a Kickstarter coming soon specifically for miniature painters and sculptors - it's been over 2 years in the making and it's unlike anything you've ever seen before!

Once again, please accept our apologies - we'll do our best to make it up in subsequent videos.

Best,

Support.

Bailey, thanks man!

I actually sent them an email asking for the lack of update but got nil response from them. Hope they will release something soon.

And to be honest I don't like their idea of kickstarter, no update for 4 months and suddenly asking for money for kickstarter that kinda baffle me.

P.S. can you tell me the other forum name? PM me thx!
