Hi Guys

Some time ago, RP tried to make a Lancaster Tail Gunner on a slightly larger scale, just like they did with the Spitifire cockpit with Douglas Bader. A lot happened, and this project was left in the drawer... But it has already been removed and within weeks the final print will be shared...

We will have 3 scales but we want do a few tests first. The gunner will be inside and we will do the Guy Gibson crew, of Dambusters Raid...

Very impressive, going to need a pretty big painting bench to get a "larger scale" Avro Lancaster tail on it, obviously the key will be how you do the glass panels, can you print in clear resin?

I thought RP had gone Patreon annual club members only now though?

Hello Mr. Rob

Thank you so much for your comment.

About the glass panels will be in clear resin like you said and its already planned the way we will do it... Its just finish the model and start the printing.

About the RPmodels club... It's something that was planned to this year but Unfortunately I had to pass this for next year. But it's something I will do and it's planned. We just need finish a few projects to open the RPmodels Club. It will be something different and it will be very nice...

Thank you so much .
With best regards

Hi Hugo

Something very different , the actual tail turret/guns etc look extremely detailed ...a model within itself even without the gunner

Look forward to seeing the actual Gunner

A release aimed at both Figure and AC modellers ....good decision

Hello BIG GUY

Thank you so much for the comment.

We are planning the Guy Gibson crew in 2 versions. One inside of the Lancaster and other one we will copy a photo where the crew is very relaxed. This allow put the crew side by side a Lancaster in 1/32, 1/48 and 1/72. We will do the full crew too, in 1/24 and 1/16 with part of the Lancaster in rear, bring an environment to the scene. But the first target its close this Lancaster and the gunner..

Big hug and a kiss to Carol
