I am currently working on Bonaparte's Lancer. This is the Richard Bailey conversion of the Alan Ball original. He is wearing a greatcoat and a bonnet de police and I would like to know the colours for these items.

Would the coat be the ubiquitous grey?

Would the bonnet be in the uniform colour with a tassel in facing colour?

Any help gratefully received.

Cheers

Bill

I couldn't find anything specific for the Lanciers de Berg. I think if you paint the bonnet de police uniform colour with piping in the facing colour that is a pretty safe bet. If the figure is an officer then the lacing around the lower part would likely be gold or silver, as would the tassel.

.

Thank you Nigel, these were my thoughts and that is what I will do.
It is better to ask first rather than have a wrongly painted item pointed out afterwards. Not an easy regiment to research but I like a challenge.
