Great work.I especially like the rendition of one of the most rarely depicted forms of "back and breast"(to use a more "Gaellic" term).Clearly the person responsible for the historical research knows his stuff.

Oda.

Would it be possible to see some photos of the unassembled metal parts, to get an idea of the casting quality and parts breakdown? It does look like a very nice piece.

I'm very happy you like it so!

Steve: as soon as possibile I'll make some pics of my copy

Oda: I'm so proud you noticed half armour! in reality this is a black and white armour but as you surely know there was many "white" armour in this style, as tje painter choose to made. As soon as possible I'll post my version in black and white armour with historical references

You are right.I have read Ewart Oakshot's monumental works on the archaeology of weapons where he divides armours in categories. You are very well educated on arms and armour and I would like to see the black and white version.

I like it so, so much!!
as I promised, here's my version (work in progress!!)
and some pics of metal copy (some parts it's polished, other no)

On such close inspection this figure is much nicer than the rather straightforward pose may suggest. Very cool actually and nice to hear about the armour's accuracy as well. And that sword is very impressive!

Nice paintwork as well Vincenzo.

Cheers,
Adrian

You Sir are a scholar and a gentleman and a sight for sore eyes. This exactly what I'm talking about.Great work all around.

Oda.

You strive for historical accuracy and artistic integrity, both attributes of a connoiseur and not a simple fan's.I hope to see many more of your works.

Oda.
