Hi Guys a new lady for legionminiatures.org from Ruslan Vorobiov.
90mm. Will be in resin and metal.

The 'Haiku-esque' bit at the beginning rather left me behind, alas. A Japanese subject, however,
is always of interest.........this one though comes across ( to me at least) as a touch salacious. Bit
of a shame really.

Mike

Let me put it in a different way: the introduction is pseudo-poetic "Orientalist" gibberish and the figure is lewd.

If she was fully clothed I would have it but I don't like erotica, so will pass on this one.

Bill

I am preparing a large diorama for 30-40 figures. Ninja night attack on a samurai house. In this composition there are 4 female figures without eroticism.)

Hi Guys

Not my thing for sure but sculpting looks good sculptor IMO

That's sounds good is it based on any illustration perhaps from a Osprey book ?

Please be careful what you post here on PF , we do have younger members ....you can always cover any areas but still share sculpt

Thanks for sharing

Ok
Agree!

Hi, you, masters,

I'm a newcomer but I'd like to share my opinion.
My favourite subjects are all included in a very short ... time and space.
That's why I wouldn't probably build and/or paint most of the figures I see on the pages of this Forum.
Nevertheless I admire any of you masters, that are able to give life to plaster in such a vivid way.
That's why I think that this figure is very, very well done, nice anathomy, deep pathos, and I can't consider her nakedness as her main feature.

Greetings!

Very nicely done. The pose is dynamic, and in terms of nudity, in light of the explanation that it's part of a diorama showing the night attack of the Ninjas, it sounds fine to me. An unexpected night attack can catch the unprepared, and the consequences can be ... such. I don't think it was meant as an erotic intent, although that's just my opinion. Nice sculpture that's definitely it.

Cheers Borek :)

my oh my. some of these prudish comments here really surprise me. It's ok to have severed heads, limps or other atrocities sculpted, it's ok to worship most of the killers (mostly officers and commanders) who are being presented here as historical figures and "hero's" in all their absurd glory , but a mere breast get's you a warning from the moderator ! very strange indeed ! by the way: historically the Japanese people had a much more liberal approch to nakedness than the victorian Brits and their commenwealth kinsman. That's very well documented !
A compliment to the sculptor for the fine job and I believe he will find a good number of admiring buyers for this excellent piece. Never mind the opinion of these old men with their absurd opinions from yesterday.

Hi there Karl

Not prudish and I did not give a warning to him , just requested him to be aware and he agreed both here and in a private conversation to me

As I said it's a good sculpt which you agree on and it will paint up well

FYI.... I am not an old man with absurd opinions from the past

Look forward to seeing your benchtime

Hi Karl,
As an old man with absurd opinions from the past, I still don't like it and your rude comments won't change my mind.

I would like to thank all the participants, regardless of their assessment of this figure. Positive or negative. Most importantly, the figure evoked emotions. As I said earlier, this part of the big diorama, and not just the desire to do pornography or eroticism. It is no worse than the figures of well-known companies in the pin-up style. I always give creative freedom to all sculptors who work not for my company. Thanks again to everyone.
