A tremendous effort by a huge team of Kiwi modellers who worked day and night for months to get this massive project completed in time. Congratulations to everyone involved. A wonderful tribute to the courage and sacrifice of so many young men at Chunuk Bair.

Hugely impressive, an amazing job done by all concerned

well done indeed

a worthy tribute to the exploits of proper Blokes.

That's one outstanding labour of love, thanks for the link. 5,000 figures by 140 modeller is one epic task.

One comment that did make me smile was "As this was a construction zone, this must be one of the only dioramas ever where hard hats were required!"
I think all fellow modellers could relate to the hard hat scenario when the other half storms the modelling redoubt :)

This is what this hobby is about, depiction of history with the best way, a tribute to all those fine lads who left
their lives to a battleground. Many years ago i saw Peter Weir's "Gallipoli" with Mel Gibson, when you see
all the wasted youth you can say that there is no greatness in a war....
As Plato said "only the dead have seen the end of war".
An excellent achievment from our fellow modellers, every figure remains alive as long as memory exists.
Congratulations to all and thank you Bob for the link !!!

Cracking job of work this
But have to say.
"Collecting on the objective = Brecon fail
Surprised PD didn't pick that up shame on him :D
