Historical Note:
This is the first figure of a series and is dedicated to the memory of Melnikov A.A.. On the 7th and 8th of January, 1988 Andrey Melnikov was able to ward off an immediate attack of the enemy. After his weapon broke down he drew grenades and later died from an enemy motor bomb.

This is a 7 part resin figure of a Russian Soldier, Andrey Melnikov durring the Russian campaign in Afghanistan, 1988. Cast is resin with very little clean-up required.

Above you see the torso with the head cast to the body. Finely detailed Russian uniform with crisp details and flods.

The above top photo shows the rifle with the hands cast to it. The bottom photo shows the resin cast base included in the kit.

Conclusion:
An excellent figure depicting the Russian forces in Afghanistan. Clean casting with only the mold blocks to be removed. Highly recommended.

Thats a good looking figure. I've been interested in that era latley and was wondering of anybody has ever made one of these. I think i might get one after i finish what i've started :p
