Interesting and entertaining programme on BBC4 00.00 - 01.00 this morning (24th) Britains Outlaws - Knights of the Road: The Highwaymen.
Lots of contemporary images.
Personally I always like to research everything I paint so I thought you might be interested. I imagine it'll be on BBC iplayer and catch-up.
