Completed Latest diorama "Ambush on the Spree"...

[T-34/85]

I always go with the old adage, "Its the illusion of reality, not reality itself" With that in mind, this is absolutely spectacular!. I agree with pedro, if this were real, the majority of the Soviet tank riders would be chewed up with the panzerfausts. I also agree that the use or, "overuse" of the symbols and such would help someone not familiar with the subject matter better appreciate the scene as a whole, Great job!

Absolutely stunning, its one thing to do a nice figure but is something else to paint 20 or so and add a piece of armour and buildings etc and make it all work together from every angle. Love it

hello Pedro. I mixed deck tan, khaki and some dark gray until I got the concrete tone I liked. I then mixed some white for the airbrushed hi-lites. Thanks!

Dan,first class execution on all aspects,a superb job with all the detailing and painting and most importantly it tells a story,the figures are interacting with each other and reacting to the ambush threat,i keep looking and admiring the small details like the oil can on the tank and i love the crushed oil drum under the tank tracks,these sort of details are what really make dioramas and you have nailed it,well done and thanks for posting,
