Up Miniaturen have released a nice companion piece to Madame Pompadour (as in my post: http://www.planetfigure.com/threads...inted-by-marilyne-neurohr.63209/watch-confirm).

Its a bust ..of course!!!! and depicts the subject in later life at the height of power , a strong woman in may ways and very much an influencial person in History .

The Scale is 1:10th as with others in range

No of Casts :240

Sculpted by: Ulrich Puchala

Box Art by : Suzanne Piedavent-Zajhko

Certainly a very imposing piece of a very imposing woman ....destined for greatness from a baby mm.jpg through womanhoodmmmm.jpg to later life which is depicted in the sculpt

Good review Kevin.
The casting looks to have very nice detail on the drapery. Difficult to reproduce the lacy effect shown in the original painting I would think. Hopefully some fine fella here will show us how.
Thanks for posting Mate.
All the very best.

This is not my sort of thing...( I can hear you saying "just because she's has no legs!";) ) but she looks very well sculpted, great detail & very close in likeness to the photos, (y)
