Nice and succesful conversion Daniel, the proportions of the head you used and the hat work very well.

Gracias Eduardo!.
I saw you have the Beneito figure in the Soissonois color, that is a very clever work you did
I am a little confuse on the Beneito box since it does not specify if the artwork on their box is of an officer of the Armada Española or an Emigree besieging the port of Toulon.
Could you please verify the info for me???

Layed the base colors only, contrary to standards, i always like to see some of the original colors to have a vision of how the finish figure will look and blend the color in a harmonic way at the end.

Hi Daniel, yes of course. The figure of Beneito is a naval officer in the siege of Toulon, it is French navy. Concretely OFFICER, ROYAL CORPS MARINERS-ARTILLERY, SIEGE OF TOLON, 1793.
They have painted with white breeches, but the ordonnace says they were dark blue, as the coat, but it seems that they could wear white on board. The old box art, was painted with dark blue breeches.
The color of the collar, depicts the unit.

Thanks a million Eduardo, i knew i could always rely on you for
information.
i gather this officer is part of the Royalist French who fought against the republican forces at Toulon cause it has the white cockade of the bourbons.

I finished the coat and vest yesterday, i am glad with the result, i sidn't spend much time looking for the highlight color for the coat, just grab one of the greyish blue and tried.
Gave me a nice result in my humble opinion.
