Thank you. Glad you like it. :) It was a real pleasure to paint.
About the composition :
The wood cases (?) are from verliden, italeri and Tamiya from my spare part box. I used to make model kits when I was Younger... I chose to paint these cases in cold shades of brown mostly by adding green to all the mixes. I think that it makes a nice background for the warm brown jacket. The tea pot is from an Italeri kit (I think so !) and I just add the "thing" to carry it (I don't know the word in english).
Bye

Jean-Philippe,

I have to agree with Guy, this is a very nice looking figure and I like the little scene that you have created. Your paint job is very crisp and clean. I look forward to seeing more of your work. (y)

Sorry I was trying to edit and I got lock out, but I did see your work on the site and I really like it and I love the pirate! (y) Anyway that you could give a little run down on how you painted it and the flesh mixture that you use?

Thank you very much.
I you want, you can find many pictures of my work and the one of the other members in the Etendard Occitan website. Etendard Occitan .It's in the "galerie" webpage.
Hope you will enjoy !

Thank you again...
I used both both oils and acrylics. The coat is paintet 95 % with acrylics. I also used oils for the lightest highlights and also for the darkets areas. The boots are are painted with acrylics, the flesh and hat with oils. The flesh tones are detailed in the article if you click on the little picture.
Bye

Hello hardy,
Your leather is very impressive, it probably needs a lot of patience. (y)
I suppose Mill mod is Military modeling ?
Do you already now in wich issue it will be ?
Bye
JP

Hi. Yes it is Military Modelling, don't no when its going in though. No magic formula though just lots of patience! Some of my earlier articles in MM do you go into leather painting but not to a grand scale like this figure.

Really impressed with your version, the setting is superb.
