Maybe Robin is in the pipeline, who knows. Personally I think this a far more interesting and original release. And of course if it had been Robin, there'd have inevitably been guys chiming in with "very nice but how about some of his merry men, I'd love to see Little John".

Patience, patience ...

Question......How would you 'bustekeers' paint under his chin and beard? And don't just say, "Very carefully"

I think the way it's done actually helps with painting rather than hinders it.

Blast it with black primer then just paint the accessible surfaces, working slightly into the undercuts. Once it starts getting a bit more tricky to get your brush head in without touching the surface opposite, that's the point at which to stop. Then just leave the recesses black for some nice deep shadow to really make the whole thing pop, and it's job done. That's the theory anyway!

Oh how I've missed this, what started out as a serious discussion as to the meritsof a great sculp, has desended into a Douglas Adams style farce,,,,,,,,,,,,, Marvelous:)
