Hi Jay...lovely painting on this bust...I think the flesh is very good, but for me, the best bits that catch the eye are the hat and the bandana, really works well with those colours..and painted so well too..a pleasure to look at.

All the best...Roy.

Great work Jay. Love the skin tones and the weathered hat. And I have to agree with you - when it comes to sculpting Raul is the man.

Joachim

Hello Jay,

I have seen many painted versions of this bust and I must say yours is one of the best I have seen so far. I also like the way you have presented it a lot. Thanks for letting us admire it.

Best wishes,

Gino

Jay, you have done an exceptional job. Those skin tones are real not to mention the rest. Well done

I had the opportunity to see this in the "flesh" as we call, it last night when Jay came over to the house to meet Jim Patrick, who was here. It is awesome and the photos do not do it justice. Just wait till you see the next project Jay is working on.............another awesome bust.

Everything have been said. Just out of words Jay. well done my friend, well done.

Cheers Mikko

Tim, Calvin, Gary,
thanks for the kind words! I really had fun with this piece. I find myself adding little bits to almost any figure I do just to kinda make it my own. Thanks again,
