Good job on the figure! I like what you have done with the ground work too! I could not help but notice the bones behind the figure; is that a hand or a foot? I'm glad to know other painters besides me use such reference materials!

Davide,

congratulations. For your second figure this is looking very good!!!!

Keep it up!

Best wishes
Bart

That's very nicely done Davide for a second figure. Your groundwork is very very good. The photos are a bit poor quality... but I can see you are on the right way.

OK, maybe you don´t know too much about fotography, but you know a lot of painting and Basebuilding!

The Base rocks, and the figure ist painted nicely. Well balanced colours, good shadows and highlights. And your second figure? Wow, I am curious how your figures will look like when you do it for some years... ;)

tomorrow I go at my Model Club and I try to make a newand good photo of the saxon :D with the help of the oters members :p

for BHowe,
is an hand but i have some skull differetn of different animals and replica of a human skull and hand :p

Very nice. I love the shield and the ground work. Very creative.
You can improve the impact of your photographs by making a simple single color back drop using a remnant of felt or other non reflective cloth. Try to avoid anything with a lot of testure. You could also find an appropriate image and print it. Usi that to give your figure a feel of time and place. If possible, use a couple desk lamps to illuminate the figure from more than one directionto eliminate shadows.

Davide,
For your second figure it is extremely well done. I could only hope that mine second was half as yours. It looks worse.
So, the background is better then the first, you are a fast student
Your base is rocking.

It' s a very popular figure. A lot of my clubmembers have made this one. You made a very beautiful piece of it too.

Very well done, Davide!
And that for your second painted!
All the shading and highlighting looks smooth and fine.
And the base a pretty nice touch.
Also our second set of photos look very good!

Thanks for sharing

Beautiful work Davide. I just recieved several of Latorre's fantasy range figures and they are loaded with detail. You have brought out the detail beautifully for your 2nd figure. Whats next on your bench?
