And here I am presenting the third work I have prepared to commemorate the anniversary of the Normandy landings.
It is a beautiful tank crew from the Alpine Miniatures, which was pictorially converted into an LCVP driver.
So I wanted to represent ideally the three operations that made this war invasion possible: the gliders who were troops arriving from the air, the navy with this subject and the troops destined for land operations with the 5th ESB engineer.
As for the other subjects, here too the setting in which it is inserted has a particular interest.

(PS; those boots were first issued late 1944 :cautious: , oh well… Still, very nice overall (y))

thank you all, it's very nice to read your comments and see how you enjoyed the whole project.
I liked, inspired by a work by Calvin Tan, starting from a figure conceived for a completely different use and with the only pictorial modification making it belong to a different unity.
The realization of the setting was also very funny, so much so that I'm now thinking about whether to reproduce it and possibly put it on sale.
