Hi guys - following the interest in some of the Russian pieces at World Expo, I wondered what interest (if any) there would be in learning to paint complex patterns on figures.
Obviously one must bear in mind our Russian friends do this 8-10 hours a day , 6 or 7 days a week.
There are two options that jump to mind for a seminar at a major show:
1> we ask someone like Inna if they could do a talk (they may be willing) - this would obviously give her the oppurtunity to travel.
2 > we ask Pietro Baloni to do a seminar. He is a very talented young sculptor/ painter and key figure at Pegaso. The patterns on his knights are wonderful.(see the Oddone di Frangipane he entered at WE2005.) He is also a very good teacher and quite proficiant in English.
3 > we get both! That way neither would be intimidated, and two approaches taught.
If there is interest, I am will to approach either/ both of them to do a seminar for us.
