Greetings fellow Planeteers,
After asking for permission from Andrey of Legion Miniatures I would like to give you a sneak preview of Legion's upcoming release.A subject taken from Greek history of the 19th century and more specifically the Greek Revolution against the Ottoman Empire.
The central figure,holding the flag is Emmanuel Pappas,a hero and a martyr of the Greek Independence who sacrificed his fortune and eventually his life for the cause.There are 6 figures in the series including an Orthodox priest and a woman/fighter.I do not have any info as to whether Legion is going to make these available as separate kits or as a vignette only but for us Greeks or any modeler with an interest in 19th century Balkan History,this release is an absolute must.The date of release is given for February-March.
