Hi Martin,
that drawing is a bit off, the nose is slightly longer , compare with the original, although my nose is a bit off also, I will work on that, thanks mate!
cheers
yess I had heard that before, we'll never know... anyway it matches many points with his disciple drawing, the turin drawing represents an oldman older than 60 that is what Leonardo was at that moment, I prefer to think it is more a self caricature as he was feeling getting in that age. Also many of the faces he drew have some similar features in comun, maybe some unconscius self portraits on the way....
Thanks Einion for your words
Thanks Martin y gracias Quico!
Im now dealing with the long hair that folds on the back,Im very glad I found a gum shaper brush, it has become my main tool and I can achieve much beter results, god bless it
cheers
HI Renè, it's a brush with some kind of flexible ruber on the top, I had try to make my own using an eraser but didn't work well, it used to leave some material on the clay and mess it... I used to soft surfaces with a fine brush but this one is far more beter and fast once u get used of it, I havent try with putties but with super sculpey works very well!
thanks mate and hoping to see u sculpting soon
Antonio - the colour shapers or clay shapers work just as well with epoxy putty as they do with sculpey. I have a large selection of these wonderful tools. There are 5 standard shapes in various sizes.
