Hello Guys,

I finished this last week this extremely well sculpted figure from Alexander Miniatures.
The boxart was painted by Jaume Ortiz who did some great work on it.
I hope you give me some positive comments so i can improve my painting work.
The figure is painted as usual with oils with acrylic underlayer. The metals are also oils, with highlight's in printersink.
I kept the base simple. I find that this figure needs all the attention for itself, and some scene's where played on the beach.
I didn't made the cloak dirty, because i find that it pushed the figure no more to reality.

Hi Marc,
The reds are perfect. Beautiful work on the metal, perhaps a little more sand on the base will be better (for me).

Seb.

Roger,
Thanks my friend. But i got to say the bronze is at the highlight almost silver.
I don't know how i can push them up.
So, every advice is welcome.

Marc

Hi Marc,

The red cape is excellent I like it very much :)))

Don't know if the this is in the pics but I can see that the lance isn't perfectly straight. Am i wrong??

Soory if I pointed this out but I it's something in me that I tell someone if he has something wrong :))

Regards,

Samwel Vella

Marc,
Just a super cape and nice shading. I agree with Sam, The lance looks a little bent from the hand down maybe? Nice simple base with some interest in it.
Cheers
John

Marc,
Nicely painted figure. Love the reds in the cape and the metals :)
I would fix the spear though. That little detail does distract from the overall look of the figure :(
Cheers,
A.
