The zombies hands add that little extra which makes this more of a storytelling bust, than just a bust. Great work allround!!!

Cheers,

Gino

Looks like Nuts Planet and Life Miniatures have went whole hog into the sci fi and fantasy arena with their new releases.
On the hands, I think they should have made them clean breaks instead of the ragged ones as shown. To my mind, a straight line implies that the object continues on 'off screen". The jagged break makes them appear that they have been ripped off and are attached to the coat.

.

Yes, I wish they would go back to the way they started out, with very good representations of real life people from history, I thought thats what their name, "Life Miniatures" was all about.

Cheer's,
Jeff.

well, in a sense they're still in the same Real Life direction as she definitely looks like one of the characters of "The Walking Dead".
and YES : fictional is way more refreshing that another SS Panzer crew or Viking or Templar or Legionnary.

Sorry Franck, I've never watched the walking dead, so I didnt realise it was modelled from a character in the show, and I wasn't talking about SS crews and the like, I was talking about figures they did like Macarthur, Churchill, Montgomery etc, and I am not against fantasy figures myself, I actually did my first one last year, just wish they'd mix it up a bit, or created a different line for them, but, its all good for the fantasy fans amongst us.

Cheer's,
Jeff.

Very nice bust and paint job. The below rant isn't a criticism on the LIFE MINIATURES bust itself, just on what sculptors make these days.

I do question the subject matter though as I wonder if the "Zombie trend" for figures have faded by now. A few exclusive resin figure makers of Post-Apocalyptic zombie and Survivor figures have since closed shop. That's all they sold was Post-Apocalytpic figures. How many figure modelers model just Post-Apoc?

The movies and TV shows highlighted this trend, but now there doesn't seem to be many new zombie movies made.

What's pretty ironic is that these Survivors are armed with what the sculpting nation allows for civilian firearms. For example, Survivors in Europe and Russia favor the shotgun, axe, baseball bat, and revolver probably because of strict gun laws. Survivors in other nations are armed with handguns and perhaps an AK-47. In the USA, Americans can buy almost any weapon when the preferred rifle in the AR-15 tricked out with scope, forward handgrip, extended magazines, and other accessories that aren't sculpted into the figures. It just goes to show you who is sculpting these figures and busts...not the USA. Just food for thought...
