I did a quick search and didn't see this topic posted, so I thought I'd bring it up. I discovered this on a model aircraft forum and people there have been quite enthralled with the images that have surfaced. Google has joined forces with the Life magazines archives and have created an online archive of images, many of which have never seen the light of day before. The exciting thing for WWII enthusiasts is the emergence of colour photos.

Be creative with your searches - it's amazing the stuff that comes up. You can also do a search straight through google by using the following format:
"search string" source:life - in other words, type your search subject into the google search window, followed by a space and the words "source:life". It might look like "vietman war source:life"
Incidently, the photo that Tony's Brothers in Arms vignette is based on can be found there by doing a search on "Korea comforted".
Hope this is of interest to some (there are great diorama possibilities here!). Sorry, no Napoleonics or Medieval photos (at least, none in colour )
