While working on my 1/1 Predator moulds, killing the dead moments so to speak, I started this 1/1 scale sculpt. Again I use polymer clay like Fimo and Super Sculpey. As a starting point I used a foam head, wich I carved out here and there and covered with epoxy to become a smooth surface. This helps the clay to stick better. The eyes are Aves Apoxy sculpt, the teeth baked polymer. I added some more teeth afterwards.

Great work. But I am not sure u would want that in my house at night. And how do you cook something so large? Won't the foam core melt and force it way out where the clay is thinnest? Curious.

Cool! I'm a big fan of "Waling Dead", keep up your great work!
I love the wrinkles and texture of the skin. Teeth are amazing too.

Thanks, guys;)

@Colin: Like the Predator head, I won't bake this piece. I'll make a silicone mould while it's still soft. True, the master won't survive, but it will have served it's purpose. I need a resin casting for painting anyway.

Hi Jimmy

The busts you see on the shelf are from the Red Knight series:

That is sculpting, the detail is brilliant. Although the head is large scale, you have put a ton of fine detail into it, it will look awesome painted up. Would love to do a 1/1 scale paint up!!!!!
Ben

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This man is a genius!! I just wish we could get them in a smaller scale.
