Well, as promised, I finally put the finishing touches on Pegaso's Calvary officer in 75 mm. Looking at the pictures, I suppose there's not too much difference from the last ones I posted, except now the groundwork is done, and of course I finished up all that silver/white lace. The pictures probably don't show it very clearly, but I wanted him to be giving a hard look toward the enemy artillery crew who just shot the cannon ball which is embedded in the ground at his feet. Here he is awaiting your comments. Don't spare the criticisms either! If you see something I should be working on, please let me know. Cheers;

Glenn,
Really nice, clean job painting this guy. I'm looking for ward to seeing more, especially.....? :lol: Did the guy arrive there yet, safe and whole? :(

Ray

Thanks Ray. Sorry, no sign of the "project" yet, but you can chalk that up to the good folks at Canada Customs. I'm sure it will arrive sometime this week. It's a holiday up here courtesy of her Majesty, Queen Victoria, so mail will start arriving tomorrow.

Thanks Glenn,
Nice to have a Queen if it gets you a day away from work. I hope Canada customs doesn't decide to damage this project like they did the last batch of stuff I sent up your way!

Glen that's neatly painted indeed my friend. My only comment would be on the weathering of the figure. A cannon ball missed his feet by an inch... and he has not even one spot of mud on him or anything.
That's my only objection. :)

Glen as Guy quite rightly says, it is hard to criticise a figure so beautifully executed. I especially like the reds, they are treated superbly mate. Keep going as you are, you don't need us!

Thanks everyone. I do appreciate your comments and observations. Thanks to your feed back, I will take him back in the studio for a little muddying up and some more contrast in the face. Perhaps with some mud on that nice clean uniform, he'll have a reason to be giving the artillery crew that dirty look :lol: .
