Hi all, just finished this gorgeous bust from Linjo and thought you might like to have a look.
Really is a joy to paint with so much reference material on this guy just by watching a great film,(Apocalypto)to boot.
Quality of casting is some of the best I have ever seen. Let me know what you think as always.
Regards, Ron.

Well done, shadow warrior...really beautful job on this. What a sculpt....looks just like the actor, too.
One question: it doesn't look as if the mandible matches the maxilla on the head/neck ornaments...two different creatures, I would think. Was that the way it was in the film? I forget....

Hi Marc, Rob, thanks fellas. Mei Zi I am so pleased you like it and my compliments to you on a superb bust. Next one for me is your gorgeous Tang Dynasty General. Regards, Ron

Wow! amazing work Ron.
Indeed the fresh tone is wonderful.:)
A perfect finish.
Did you use oil paints?
A wonderful gradation.
I congratulate completion.;)

Mitsutaka.:)

Hi Mitsutaka, indeed fleshtones in oils. Can't seem to get anywhere near as good a result with acrylics. Leave that to the experts and stick with what I know.
Thanks for the nice remarks. Ron
