Can you post a link to the popular Russian figure forums? They are of interest to me since the Russian brands seem to be dominant these days. I prefer 75mm. They are the perfect mix of detail, size and price.

Hi I agree, we should have variety of sizes, as collectors vary in interest, speaking of myself, have since some fabulous figures over the years in particular diorama one, and would love to see them in 54mm

For those who prefer 54mm - perhaps you remember all those First Legion figures produced in China. As they
lend themselves so well to larger dioramas, you may already have some in your collection. If so you will be aware
of Volodya Danilov's work because they too were sculpted by him (have a look at his 'Hunting Grasshoppers').
His enforced anonymity with his work for that Company prompted him to 'go solo'. and his choice of scale for
these Romans is 75mm. Take my word for it............they're superb.

Couldn't agree more, Mike, .....I've just got them and they are superb castings/sculpts. The finer details on each figure are a marvel, lending themselves ideally to 75mm.
(Gives my old eyes a fighting chance, anyhow:D ) I like the First Legion figures for the very reasons you gave, although I notice the prices have risen. Due to the present politico-economic climate, I suspect.:cautious:
