scale?.

Tomas,

the deep green is Duro, the light green is white Magic Sculp mixed with Duro.
Cap visor is shaped white plastic sheet.
I'm beginning to like that mix best. However I stll have to learn a lot.

As about 48th scale; I don't know - yet.
I wanted to make 48th pilots for my ww1 Sopwith aircraft but failed and decided to do a tank crew instead when I read there will be many new AFVs from next year on.

If 48th as a AFV scale catches on there will certainly be a place for talented people like you :)
Maybe napoleonic vignettes from 3-5 figures would be a good idea too ?

Tomas - I sculpt in 1/48th too and am very imrpessed with your work and interested in your methods - and yours Manfred! Both of you are producing superb work!

I see from the pictures how Manfred builds his armatures. But Tomas - do you sculpt or cast yours? I presume they are sculpted given the wires. And what putty are you using Tomas?

Hello Collin,
Usually I work with the differents tipes of Milliput (yellowgrey in this case).
I have many human canons in diferents scales, the draws are plastifaying,
(for the stuff dont fix it).By the other way, just prepair a portions off cooper wire
I put the fresh stuff over the draw, but only in the essential parts, head, chest,
waist ,foots let dry. When putty its hard, you can move the maniquie with a little
nippers, and start to adjusting the figure in 360 views.
Thas it,basically my metod to make frames.
Regards,

Tomas
