Hi Folks
Inspired by the excellent work Ernest is doing over this beautifully sculpted figure,I couldn't wait to start mine...
I'm not convinced at all with the orange hair and I have to finish a lot of things on the face, specially the eyes.
Hope you like it
regards
jaume

Thanks Jay :)

Joe.I'm sorry but the supplier was closed for holidays.I'll check tomorrow if he's already open.
Thanks for the comments

Excellent! A lovely face on this piece and you have rendered it very well. 'S funny, I am not used of thinking of a halfling needing a shave! I am looking forward to seeing this when it's finished.

The Face looks killer! Great skintone, shadows and lights, and the hair! Man, cannot wait to see this little gem finished!

Hey Jaume, that's awesome man. That skin tone rocks. I have to agree with you regarding the hair. I'd go for a darker shade cause I think it will make the face look better. My 2c

As usual your skin tones are an inspiration by the way is this little hobbit only available directly from Enigma? I think this figure gonna be 2006 best seller for Raul!

Jaume,

I wish i could paint like that with oils. Followed your instructions on painting a face alot off times but never achieve this level of painting.
So i went to oils.
Now, getting those skintone's in oil is preaty difficult.

I realy like this fellow.

Hello Jaume,

He looks fantastic! It is a very inspiring figure indeed...
The eyes look perfect now, and I think the hair looks much better balanced with the colours of the clothes blocked in. The red hairs emphasis the scottish feeling also...

I'm also looking forward to seeing him finished!
Best wishes,

Marijn

Hello Jaume,
I read your article how to paint the face via acrylic paints
I assumed you do not use VA's slow dry during painting face, is it?
