I just wanted to post a few pictures while I am decompressing a bit and letting everything sink in.

I will write a more appropriate address later this week but for now I would just like to thank everyone who supported the show and to those who attended the first ever Lone Star Figure Show. The show was a huge success, with over 450 entries and 68 different exhibitors. The workshops were well recieved and in all honesty, the whole show far succeeded our expectations.

I will write more later on, but for now, please enjoy some pictures of people, events and the venue. Pictures of the entries will come as soon as I recieve the photos from the show photgrapher. If anyone have images please feel free to post them in the mean time!

Enjoy!

I wanted to find out if anyone remembers seeing a fantasy figure titled, "Destroyer of Worlds".
It was a Peguso piece. I Googled it to try and find one to buy but can't seem to locate it. Don't know if anyone might know the name of actually piece.

Congatulations to Anders and the all the other folks for putting on a fantastic show! Top marks all around. I didn't speak to a single person that didn't say this show wasn't great...especially, for a first run. For all the folks that couldn't make it, I highly recommend you mark your calender for next year.

Here she is and you are in luck. She is being made again, she has not been available for order for many many months.

This was my first figure show and it definitely won't be my last. Had a great time, learned a lot and met a lot of great people. For those of you that have only been to IPMS style shows you are missing out. Got some good critique on my work and how to improve. The seminar by Bill Horan was great but I wish I had been able to take the painting or sculpting seminar. It was also great to see the work of some really great artists that I have only been able to see in books and magazines before.
