Cool! Really envious of you all down there. What a great opportunity.

I recognize Julio, but wonder who else is pictured in these photos.

Also wonder what you guys worked on today.

Doug Cohen is in the first one behind Julio and the next set of pictures is Anders Heintz.

I'm in Ander's sculpting class and the pictures are actually from both workshops. Both instructors are doing a great job and everyone seems to be having a great time.

I'm learning such a great deal! Seeing Mr. Cabos' & Mr. Meehan's works up close was a big "eye-opener" for me. As I haven't seen such mastered works as these up close & in person, only on the net. Big difference! I'm currently painting a figure right now using the techniques and information I learned today. One of the biggest things I've had problems with is painting flesh, and I gained some critical experience today and things are finally clicking;). We also have a really great group; it's nice to put faces with names!

I did not attend either seminar but the Lone Star show in general was a top notch experience. They really dotted their I's and crossed their t's to the max. I expected Texan hospitality and was not the least disappointed. The hard work that goes in putting a show together was evident in every aspect that I saw. Big thanks to all of the the Texas boys for a great show and a great weekend.--

Mike,

452 total entries, 75+ (dont have number infront of me) exhibitors. I'd imagine we were well over 100 as far as attendance. I will write more on the show shortly! Will post some pictures first.

Top notch show for sure. Great painting class and hopefully there will be another Lonestar show next year! THe hotel was awesome! Some fantastic figures too and everyone was great. Got to hand out with Bill Horan for a few hours Friday night smoking cigars with all the guys and had the best time and great weather

These numbers may not be exact but I hear it was 118 artists with 462 entries. The workshop with Don Julio Cabos is now the benchmark of how all workshops should be done. Huge thanks to Gordy/planetfigure.com for sponsoring the lighting portion for Cabos. Congrats to My adopted brother Alex De Leon for being awarded best in show for his entire collection.

sorry, was typing while Anders was typing.

Well, welll, well!
I recognize a couple of faces there!:)
That seminar looks awfully nice! Of course, you are in the best hands with Julio.
Glad to see our lamps in service again!
Waiting for more pics
