Yes indeed, the show was definately a class act. I had such a good time and learned a heck of a lot at the Julio Cabos workshop . We also got to work with inks and learned how to achieve different effects with metallics combined with inks. My hat is off to Anders, Doug Cohen, the sponsors, of course the local club members in the front lines and behind the scenes, and anyone I have'nt mentioned that pulled this off. They did an excellent job. I made some new friends and also met those that for some of us, we only read about in books or magazines. Finally, Mike Meehan does'nt look like Bill Murray. At least I don't think so!

Thanks for the great pics Mike. What can you tell us about the cowboy figure in the foreground of pic #5?

Lot's of great looking mini's on display. (y)

Dave-

Hi Anders. Sorry I missed this one before. As I've said already, a really successful conversion using a great figure as a starting point. Wish we saw more good old basic cowboy minis in 54 mm like this one on the market. It's currently my favorite subject and I Should have a new one ready to share in a couple of days.

Looks like a great show you all put on and looking forward to seeing the official photos soon.

Wish I could've made this seminar, sounds like a "once in a lifetime" event. How many Teddy R's will be at the MMSI Show this year? As many as the Violinest last year I suppose. ;) I just can't see myself firing up the compressor and futzing around with the airbrush to paint a 54mm figure - too damn lazy and I don't have the pro quality equipment as Mr. Cabos has. Last time I turned on my old Badger compressor and hooked up my Thayer & Chandler AB, Jimmy Carter was President...
